Wow, imagine getting from New York to England by train in a half an hour! Experts are working on an undersea tunnel containing a vacuum that would allow supersonic rail travel. Now, this is still 30 years off, but damn! 2,300 miles per hour? Sealed in a tube at the bottom of the ocean? That's freaky.
