Stephen Hunter gives his review of Once Upon a Time in China 1 and 2 in today's Post. I've never seen these movies, but they're coming to the Kennedy Center's AFI Theater, with uncut, pristine prints and newly-translated subtitles. I should really check that out.

You guys see this story about a solar-powered flying wing that reached almost 100,000 feet of altitude yesterday? I had no idea such a thing existed.

Hey! An LA car chase just ended right outside my apartment. Tony and I were watching Wolf in the Water, a special on Pirahna, when we hear a helicopter endlessly circling our complex. I went outside, walked to the corner, and sure enough, a perp was being wrestled from his vehicle and getting a little LAPD rub down, if ya know what I mean. Cool!
