This is the first time since September 11 that I've felt compelled to post something to our poor dying little blog here, but this site has some of the funniest damn things I've heard in a long, long time. This one's for Fozzy and Bionator...A scaled-down version of Laaz's famous Halloween party went off without a hitch this past Saturday. Whereas last year, attendance was estimated at about 200 and an actual DJ (a spinner, in the parlance of our times) showed up without any foreknowledge by the hosts, this year the total take was about 50, though there were never more than about 30 people in the house at any one time, and for most of the night it was even smaller than that. BUT, we had the room of evil and the tunnel o' death and everyone who was there was duly impressed/scared/having fun.
The revelation of the day, however, turned out to be Amy's artistic skills. When she was on her way over to help decorate, I asked her if she could paint and she said, quite modestly, "Yes." Next thing we know, the walls in the room of evil... were bleeding... uh, they were covered with these incredibly detailed, elaborate, creepy faces and designs that made the room of evil eviler than it's been in years. Thanks Aimz....
