Heard Richard Dreyfuss on NPR pitching this show this very morning. Sounds cool. By the way, he discussed the basis of my complaint of a few months ago about FDR requesting a monument "no larger than his desk" and winding up with one that covers 7 and one half acres. Sheesh!

Mr. Dreyfuss Goes to Washington (2 Parts) Many people have visited our nation's capital, touring the District's many monuments and soaking up history. But there is a back-story to the District itself and to the monuments that dot the landscape. This program is a personal project of actor and history buff, Richard Dreyfuss. Explore the layout of the city from the Capitol building's Great Hall to monuments of Jefferson and Lincoln. 1/21, 1/22
